Help me remember - Update: NM

I remember something about this floating around, but wasn't at a point I was ready to pay attention. I'm going to order from Amazon today. Is there still a pay with points get $$ back going on? Was it an Amex Offer? Something through Amazon? IIRC someone just paid a few pennies or dollars with MR and got decent $ back.

Spoiled girl that I am, I'd like to order in the next 45 min for same day delivery. TIA.

Last one running I think was a Discover one but not Amex

There is a way to pay on an Amazon purchase with your Cashback Bonus from Discover, I know of nothing through Amex since I don't have any of their cards.

Yeah, you can pay with points from almost everyone now (UR/TYP/MR/Discover cashback), but this was a deal where if you redeem say .01 of your points/cashback toward your amazon order, then you get like $10 credit...which makes it sound very Amex-ish. Longer ago there was a Chase/Freedom deal of some kind, like maybe in the fall. But this was something in the last month or three. I'm not seeing it in my email or an easy search, so I'm betting it's gone.

I think this is what I was thinking of. The Amex one appears to have been in the fall. Maybe that's what I was thinking of instead of Freedom?

I only had like 15 min left, but evidently that is good through 12/31/16 and so I'll just do it next time. My Discover card number changed due to some breach, I didn't want to mess with it. But yeah, I think that was it. Thanks all.
