Nice. I have been under the rock for a while and not following the CC scene. Does Chase still have the 5 cards in 24 month restriction for non-cobranded UR cards? If so, I am probably locked out of this one and I don't think I want to PC my regular Freedom or CSP given the way I spread bonus category spends across multiple cards.

March 13th (today) - April 7th, applications by phone and in branches, no PC allowed. April 7th is when PC becomes available and I assume it will be available for online apps as well seeing as the card is not on their website yet. I will call back April 7th and do a PC. Hope this helps!

I read it as an indication they would like folks to get off the 5% categories. It's a bit more of a challenge to build up massive points at 1.5 per $1 compared to 5 per $1.

What, you mean like the credit card? or Freedom as a concept the Ancient Greeks would discuss

Old / Regular Freedom has 1% in UR points, and a 5% category each quarter, such as gasoline this quarter, groceries next quarter.

New Freedom Unlimited has 1.5% in UR points. Period. no changing categories.

Other than that, pretty much the same card, from what I see.

I asked if I would retain the sign up bonus since my account is 1 week old, but if you PC and you already had the bonus, I imagine they will not offer it

Nice job infamous!! I have the chase sapphire not the preferred. I just sent chase a SM asking for a pc. We shall see, they usually respond back within 2 hrs. I get 2% cashback at restaurants and would rather have the 1.5% cb on everything.
