A very good morning to y'all,this is just to let you guys know about a new feature with WF credit cards. Sorry if this been discussed somewhere else but I looked around and couldn't find so here goes.

WF starts to offer free fico score and my understanding from reading the disclaimer its across all WF credit cards. Signing in to WF and you'll see small box with see my fico score. Agree to term and conditions and it will take you to your fico score powered by exparien. It does says in the disclaimer that it will be a soft credit pull and that it will not affect your score according to WF.

its a cool feature considering most CP now offer that service so it seems like WF is catching up. One thing bothering me though is that my experian fico score at WF credit card is about 40 points more than my actual fico I get through exparien. Not sure what's the reason behind that bit ill have to wait and see if it will update shortly.

From what I have seen Wells Fargo is not offering you your Fico 08 score, they are offering you your FICO 02 EX score. Not a score a lot of lenders are using but its still a FICO score and a good data point.

The difference is that FICO releases different scoring models from time to time. FICO 08 is what a lot of banks and lenders are using to make credit decesions. Although some lenders use different versions of FICO, 08 is commonly used. The EX score from Wells Fargo is something good to know though, as they are probably using that score to determine your standing with them in regards to CLI's.

WF uses FICO Bankcard Score 2 based on Experian score. AKA EX-98 BE. The range is 250-900.

It seems like it. I tried using a pc but could find the score link so I believe it's only the on mobile apps
