AMEX foreign transaction not show up

Made several charges in Philippines on my SPG, the oldest one is on 4/1.

Got alerts with correct amount right way and available credit has been reduced correctly

BUT there is nothing show up as pending charge for a week, nothing has been post either.

Is this normal? I am not worry about anything, just seems unusual in this day and age

My CSP and Citi Premier act normally

My Amex never shows then as pending on the website or app. If you have Apple Pay or Samsung Pay then it does up on their app if you have the card on there.

It will post eventually. Foreign transactions vary in how long they take to post. I had one from India take a month.

This isn't unusual apparently. I just came from Australia and had several charges not appear until more than 2 days later. It does appear properly in Apple Pay, but not online for awhile.

I live in the Philippines and use several cards. Either the merchants close their batch much later or the processing of the batch is much slower.

It's very common to have purchases appear many days, a week or even with one purchase 3 months later.

The only way to see them before they post is in your Apple Wallet in your iPhone if you add your card they show up under recent transactions
Used to drive me crazy bc I couldn't tell what amex's exchange rate was until I saw the charges
