Good morning guys! So I got the Ebates Visa two days ago. I just made my first purchase on Carter's. How do I receive the cash back? Do I still receive it in the form of the big fat check, or do I receive it as a statement credit? I did the online chat and the guy said he couldn't answer anything about the actual Ebates site because he only dealt with the CC. I'm a bit confused about how the website knows I'm using an Ebates CC. Or does it register on the CC statement as Ebates instead of Carter's? I just want to ensure the extra 3%.

Also my temporary card keeps saying invalid CVV when I try to set up an online account with Synchrony. I'm assuming this means my real credit card number will be a different number?

Last question--Is better to request a credit line increase after I activate the new card or can I do it right now? Any better luck either way? Thank you! :-)

Both the ebates rebate and the rebate from the credit card come in the big fat check (some months after purchase). I know not everyone has this issue but make sure that you get the credit for using the card, much of the time I have to open a ticket

Yes, log into your ebates account and it should show all types of activity. I just checked mine (I used it for the first time in many months) and sure enough, my credit card purchase is listed as

Everyday 1% Ebates Card Purchases

rather than the 3% I should be getting for using it for an ebates purchase. Now it turns out (since lots of rebates were used) that they are showing $0.04 whereas it should be showing $0.12 ! So not a huge deal but this always seems to happen, which is why I don't use the card!

Great, thanks. Mine hasn't posted yet, but as soon as it does, I'll check. I was kind of confused about why the CC chat guy said he couldn't help. Amazon and Walmart seem to be able to help with $$ back. Weird setup.

Also do you know if the temporary card # is different than the real one? I'm assuming it is since it won't let me log in.

I can't remember but the temp CL can be very different from the actual one. I was given $2K on approval and then when the card arrived it had a $15K CL

Yeah they said temp $1000 & $3000 is actual. Will call CS upon activation.
