What scores does Capital One use?

I've heard mixed feedback and I've only found old threads. Any recent applicants or those with insight have any feedback on what scores they use? The one constant I've seen is EQ-04, but unless I'm going crazy, MyFico does not show me an 04 score for Equifax. I plan on applying for either the QuicksilverONE or the signature Quicksilver, so I want to have my ducks in a row so I know which card would be best for me to apply for. I'm leaning towards the QuickSilverONE because my current cards have low limits and are both secured, but I have decent scores and decent income with no recent baddies, so I want to maximize my efforts.

I know you will get a pull across all 3, not sure the model but I'd bet it's 08

Capital One hard pulls from all 3 credit bureaus, but the score they report on acceptance or rejection is FICO 5 from Equifax (part of the FICO 04 series).

Captial One does NOT use Fico 08 for their applications or CLI's.

For their prime cards (QS, Venture One, Venture) they use - Fico 5 mortgage enhanced score, Fico 4, and Fico 3. I'm not sure what is used for the platinum and QS1 - it's been too long since I applied and I don't have the letters with me - someone else may be able to confirm those two.

After looking a few of my CLI denial letters across all types of cards, it appears for SP CLI's they use: Fico 5 mortgage enhanced score, Fico 4, and Fico 3 as well.

I have six cards with them and for my MC and Visa products, they always use my EQ version of the score - that may vary by location, not sure.

Good to know. I was just guessing... Never had a reason to know
