capital one and NFCU and barclay all post rewards the moment the payment post but the QS isn't the card to get "most rewards". you kind of need to choose: quick or most. what's more important?

Cap1 posts before statement cuts, and depending on who you talk to, that's a great benefit. You could do the math and figure out how much interest you earn on the same rewards in your savings account, or a money market account... Add it to the QS cash back and compare it to the 2% cards out there right now.

I was trying to get the best of both worlds, seeing as barclays has 2% then it looks like barclays is best at the moment.

The only issue with the Barclays is that you have to reach a certain # of points before you can cash them in. You can cash in $0.90 on the QS if you wanted.

I understand, makes the quicksilver seem like the best option to get your points quickly. I really want to amex bcp for excellent points when going food shopping but have heard that it is not easy to get the rewards. I currently dont have the quicksilver, hoping they will approve me at somepoint down the line. For those with the amex bcp, how hard is it to redeem your rewards?

I have the regular Blue Cash card and it is very easy to redeem rewards. I usually just use them as statement credits. Recently used it to get a gift and it produced as an e-card in about half an hour.

QS is my quickest card by far. Rewards post when the transaction posts. You can redeem from app and it has no $25,$50 redeem lock. Meaning you can choose any amount.
