Citi Prestige: purchase protection now covers LOST items

Hi folks. Along with the change to 24 months of extended warranty I also noticed that purchase protection now also covers lost items.

This is huge for me. This has been one of the main reasons I've put more valuable purchases on the Amex plat.

I wonder how they verify that & how big a loss they'll cover. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but I would imagine there are a number of people (not necessarily on these forums, but in general) who would claim they lost something just to get the money back for something they still have.

Amex never had problems with this and I'm glad that prestige has stepped up.

Now if the can raise the fee for secondary cards and equalize the benefits across primary and AUs. Like Amex platinum
