Today is my credit steps day!

So my 6th statement cuts today. When will I find out what my credit steps CLI is? Today? Tomorrow? A couple days? I'm so excited!

Mine was today too. They added $500 to my $2150 CL. That is so much better than the $20k in Visa/MC I picked up in the past week. lol

I found the increases added to my cards online. Got email about them a week later.

Not me. I have done something to capital one. All of a sudden they are no longer friendly. It's like I forgot their birthday or something. I am getting the silent treatment.

No harm no foul. They have served their purpose in my life. I am getting approvals for better cards now. Once all my inquiries clear I will be in with Chase, Citi, and AMEX so no looking back for me. I will let them grow since they are my oldest but no love loss if they don't grant me killer CLI's. In time I will cancel them and move on completely like I did with First Premier.

My apologies to the OP, I did not intend to hijack your post. Don't be afraid to click the LUV button on their site but the increase should show on its own. Once it shows though the LUV button probably won't yield anything extra. At least, it didn't for me.

So with my sixth statement cutting today will that mean tomorrow it should be showing up with my new limit? I'm hoping for a big one. I've put about 10k through the card in the six months I've had it.

Did you do the intermittent CLI request?

I hit the luv button after 2nd statement and jumped from $300 to $800. My 6th statement won't be until August. My original credit steps email said "by September 2016 you can enjoy a higher credit line" or something like that.

So I don't know if it will be immediately after your statement cuts. Just check it feverishly after today. lol

My 6th statement cut on the 14th and I got ........ 0. Yep.

They said I'll get my steps on the 20th because that will actually be the day it is supposed to happen. (I changed payment dates twice.) We shall see if that happens. Haven't used the card in 3 months though, so who actually knows.

I have a Platinum..a bit more than 2 months with 500 cl.

They never mention steps...and I have never seen a luv button

I only see the CLI request, which asks quite a few questions.

Anyway...I feel like I'm in a parallel universe.

After your third statement you can do a cli request and most people here get it. after your 6th statement they are suppose to give you an automatic cli which is part of the steps. The CLI request is the luv button, lol, that is how people call it around here.

Haha, yes the "luv button" is the CLI request form. Just fill it out. WIth Capital One it's a soft pull. I was denied on 4/7, statement cut 4/9, did it yesterday and bam. CLI granted.
