Capital One Venture One PC change?

I currently have 3 CO Visa Paltinum cards. 2 are Venture One cards, the other is a Platinum something. CLs are 3K, 3.3K and 3.5K. I've had these cards for several years now and don't really wanna close, but rather upgrade if possible. Is there a way to do this? I recently tried to lower the APR via chat, but really didn't get much. Balances are pretty low and will be paid off soon, just curious if there is an upgrade path, or just let sit in a drawer.

I'd email the EO about it and state my case as a loyal customer.

Permanent APR reductions with Cap One are nearly impossible without EO intervention, but that's separate from a PC. Try asking about the cards in chat and see if you have any offers to "upgrade" to another product. If chat gets you nowhere, then you could try reaching out to the EO.

They usually take a few days to get back to you, but they will get back to you.

Well instead of emailing me back, the EO office called me. Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer, luckily they left a VM, so I just called them and left them a VM. Tag, they're it. lol

That can be a problem at times with the EO.

I'll add that while you have them on the line you might want to see about getting your accounts upgraded to a no-AF Quicksilver.

The rewards level is 1.5% compared to 1.25% with the Venture One, and with the Quicksilver you can redeem your rewards anytime as a statement credit or even a paper check; there's no need to redeem against travel purchases like with the Venture One.

(For what it's worth, in many instances the PC to a Quicksilver can be handled by a front-line CSR, but while you have the EO you might as well let them take care of everything. In the event a CSR told you there was no 'offer' to PC to a no-AF Quicksilver, you would just have to contact the EO again, anyway.)

BTW, I took my own advice. I wasn't able to get the "upgrade" offer through chat, so I reached out to the EO. They just called me back a few minutes ago and approved my request! So, OP, pick up the phone! Hopefully they'll have good news for you, too.

OK, so I finally talked to the EO rep. All 3 accounts are available to upgrade to a QS with no AF and 1.5% cash back. I can also wait and get 1 or more cards back to a 0 balance and possibly do and account combination and/or a PC change upgrade. Was told it would be better to wait and see if I can do a combo, then upgrade from there rather than just do a PC change now cuz it would give me better upgrade flexibility in the future. I was planning on getting these balances back to 0 anyway, so I'm gonna wait and try for an account combination at that point.
