Chase Visa Questions

I currently have a Chase Visa Platinum with a CL of 2800 and a Chase Freedom with CL of 4000. Today I bought yet another flight on Southwest and read through the info regarding their Chase Visa. I pretty much only fly with them and think that the perks with the CC are great...

Is there any way that I can consolidate my 2 Chase visas and possibly transfer them over into a Southwest Visa?

I transfered my Chase visa Platinum to an Amazon card the other day with no troubles. I am not sure if you could do what you have proposed or not. There has been some discussion on here about difficulties in changing from a co-branded card (like the southwest card) However, I had no trouble changing to a co-branded card. The only thing you can do is call and ask.

I did notice that the southwest card does not appear on the chase site, only the southwest site, so it may be a different ball game with respect to a product change.

So you want to combine and close 2 cards with age to open a brand new card and further reducing your average age? Combine to oldest card or to the card with the best rewards. Personally, I would keep the Freedom card.
