CC's notorious for generous CLI's

I did some searching on this and found some scattered threads with isolated examples, but thought it would be nice to have a thread with a bunch of examples in it. I guess I'm assuming excellent credit scores here as results with less than excellent scores would be more hit or miss generally speaking. Contributions from those with any FICO scores would be appreciated though if you felt what you received was generous considering your personal profile. Looking for best results in a years time or so, that is from SL to X within roughly a year.

So far two that have jumped out at me are Discover It and Lowes (Synchrony). Many have cited SL's in the $5k-$10k range and in a year or so (sometimes much sooner) having a CL of $25-$35k. Curious what other examples are out there and what you guys have personally had success with. Thank you for your feedback.

Besides Lowe's, most of the other Synch cards can also be very generous.

My experience is Amex. I received few auto increases already and intially started at 8k. Second highest limit was discover for 4K at the time of Amex approval.

Seems like others are getting huge limits with Cap one venture. All I see is 20k starting limits.

That's starting limits. The OP is asking about CLI's, and Cap One is one of the stingiest in that respect.

+1 CapOne may issue decent SL, but they can be very stingy in regards to CLI.

Well...

Discover IT in the last 12 months: $6000 to $20500 (No hard pulls and many CLIs)

Cap1 QS in the last 12 months: $5000 to $13000 (1 hard pull and 1 CLI)

I played the Discover game last spring for one-half of the increase.

Yes, They are known for HPing all 3 CRAs to get a CLI. Same thing goes for Bank of America. HP all 3 CRAs.

AmEx will give up to 3x CLI on a soft pull if you have 1-3 months of history with them. Some get it on activation even!

I've never heard of that. Is that some sort of special request CLI? I've received two CLI's from Capital One with standard SP's and from reading on here others have received CLI's using the CLI button on their site and/or their automated phone method and never received a HP. I'm not understanding why you were hit with HP's across all bureaus?

This is odd to me also. I got my SO a CLI with Capital one and it was SP. I would have never done it if I thought it was going to be 3 HP.

Yet another non-value-adding post. I thought I was pretty clear in my original post that I utilized the search function adequately prior to posting which seems to be the big pet peeve around here for guys like you. A thousand apologies if I didn't meet your board expectations. And this is by no means an attempt to "create a mega thread" - it's an attempt to gain information. If it turns into a mega thread, though, it proves that it added value to the forum evidenced by the amount of contributions, which is what we're all after isn't it? Except for the small percentage that wing peanuts from the back row that add no value, of course.

Wow, very solid CLI over a half a year. Which Amex card do you have? Did your CLI's come from inquiring yourself or were some automatic?

From my experience; PenFed Travel Rewards Amex- Instant approval for $17,500.00 with a 660 EQ

Venture Visa Signature instant approval $15,000.00, Chase United Club Card Visa Signature, took several weeks for the approval to go through but when it was, $15,000.00 limit given and most people who get the card are seeing tradelines that start at $15,000.00, my Banana Republic Visa was instantly approved in store for $4,000.00 in January, CS call bump to $10,000.00 and chat luv recently to $12,500.00, Lowes Credit Card opened at $800 -- within months was at $30,000.00, Ebates opened at $3,000.00 and took some time but got it $15,000.00 in under 8 months,
