Hi,

I'd been looking at the Chase Freedom card a couple of months ago and just noticed they changed their reward structure. Their website now says 3% bonus cash back on gas, groceries, and fast food purchases for the first six months. "Receive 3% cash back offers every quarter." They don't mention any other categories.

The CS rep can't give me any information about what the offers may be in the future. This kind of ruins things in my mind. Any thoughts?

I talked to a chase rep this week she just said that they always give offers for different categories. It varies.

Yes, the regular Freedom card got the rewards watered way down. Sorry.
