AMEX Slow to report?

Got 5 new accounts on March 16 (Amex being 2 of them) and ALL have closed and reported except for the 2 Amex accounts. However, I do see the INQ (yes I got 2 revolving cards on one EX HP).

Both accts closed on the13th and the 1st statements has been cut but still nothing to the CRA's as of this morning. Is this normal? Thanks guys!

Yes it is normal. Amex takes several statements to report.

They can be slow to report. I would suggest trying not to focus on it because it will make the time seem even longer.

When my phone dings and it’s a notification from Credit Karma or Experian CCT I jump into action like I’m on a Black Ops recon team and being called up for an emergency extraction from behind enemy lines. Credit Karma makes me SICK with the weekly updates....needs to be like how myfico does it, whenever there's a change lol

I ended my subscription with myfico because it's expensive. I feel like I need to get it back because I feel like I have no idea what is happening with my credit LOL

I try not to but can't help it Managing my credit has become my favorite past time activity LOL

Credit Check Total is really nice. $21.95 a month but if you call to cancel it they will cut it by 50% for 5 years. You get all 3 FICO's every 30 days and constant EXP updates. If myFICO is updates and current FICO's with every change, I might have to switch to feed my need to know. lol

MyFico is a lot quicker. You get an alert EVERY TIME something changes on your reports and it cost about the same as CCT per month. Sigh I miss their text messages and logging in to the app, I really do LOL

why should I suffer alone?

I use to get email, text, and phone notifications. I remember I would be so scared to check after I app'ed or let a balance report because I knew my scores would drop and I'd see the negative number in red ....positive is in green LOLOLOL.

And it's soooo cool it gives your score in colors. Last I checked I had 2 green and 1 orange. Green means good and orange means fair LOL. (or something like that...I can't exactly remember LOL

I have to say, I like the fact they don't report for at least the first 2 statements. Gives your FICO some buffer against the new accounts. The new account impact is much more severe in the initial months. It's also a good break from not having to worry about statement cutting with a significant balance, especially as you are meeting the promo offer spend.

I got a BCE on 4/21/16 and was worried that it wasnt reporting yet. im glad to see yours hasnt either yet though. I wish it would go ahead and report, im tired of waiting! two months is a crazy amount of time for it to not be on your reports yet

I got my BCE and Delta Gold on 4/01 and neither has reported.
