CLI on BofA card last CLI was June. Counter offer on CLI for Chase card. 9 for 9 on new apps since May.

I just got denied a CLI on my Mervyns card ,I have had it 3 years no lates...haha..

PATHETIC..it has a $200 limit ...

reasons not using card enough basically..I told them it had a $200 limit what could you buy with that!..

most of the time it is zero balance so i have pulled it out the sock drawer and am using it again..

where is the love GE money bank!!???

Denied new - WaMu (before Chase) because of where I live and declining house prices.
Denied new - Citi because of too much debt.
Denied CLI - Discover.

I was denied a conversion from Orchard to an unsecured card but was approved for a Discover More card with a good limit......Go figure.

Hmm, I applied for a ton of cards:

Denied:

Lukoil Barclays (didn't have credit history for 2 years)

JCP, Target, Walmart (they were unable to verify address/phone)

Citi AA something card (too many inquiries)

DCU Visa (escalating debt ((only debt showing was $600.00 to chase)), too many inquiries, too much credit

Fashion Bug - too many inquiries

Old Navy - address thing again

AMEX - didn't meet their internal standard thing, too many inquiries

Citizen's Bank RBS Rewards card - payment history over the last 6 months didn't look good on manual review, too many inquires.

HSBC Rewards - too many inquiries (wanted this to combine my crappy HSBC with)

Discover - this was a pre approval, but when I got to them to apply, they didn't like the inquiries and new accounts.

I had a lot of inquires when applying, but all were over 6 months old (not anymore though ) .

Crap 1 (3 times: no response to first recon, second two denied, fourth one semi-succesful)

Citi Secured (maybe I should have tried the unsecured, would have been the same result)

Declined for Home Depot and Discover Motiva, but approved for the HSBC Discover, Dillard's Amex, and Visa from AZ State CU.
