CSP Friend Invitations?

Hey all,

I'm just wondering, does Chase send you guys invitations to invite your friends to apply for the card?

I got an email telling to to invite friends to take advantage of a new CSP card and they will get 50,000 points, with the purchase of $4k in 3 months, and I'll get 10,000 points. ...LOL.

Isn't this considered legal spam? I am starting to get constant emails from Chase now that I have 5 of their cards. NO other Bank does this, or at lease I'm not on their email list. NO emals from Discover or CapOne with offers, etc.

Yea I just got 5,000 points for sending an application to a friend for Sapphire, it's pretty neat!

What happens if you invite someone, and that person gets shut down for something like M$ or something like that. can they tie that to you and shut you down too? All of this AAing has me spooked!

@Anyway @ OP, I too have been getting these emails from Chase at least once a week lately. Everytime I see I got an email from Chase, I think it's a CLI notice LOL

@Anyway @ OP, I too have been getting these emails from Chase at least once a week lately. Everytime I see I got an email from Chase, I think it's a CLI notice LOL

You don't get 5K points just for sending the referral. You only get it if the person is approved and uses the card.

You and I both know that. However, I wanted the poster above to clarify. If I read it right, he/she stated they received 5K points for sending an app. Which doesn't make sense or we'll all be in bonus points heaven for sending apps all day LOL

All I remember is sending this to a few people at time 5k early last year and they never got the email until about a month later after them applying thus screwing me out of 10k UR points.. I won't forget that Chase lol. Maybe they changed it to be a quicker email system to applicants, but i dont think so.

Very common complaint/issue with Chase referrals. I don't even bother with anymore for that reason.

Sorry for the confusion, I sent the app, they were approved and I got the 5k points exactly 8 weeks after
