Semi-secured cards??

I thought I read somewhere about there being a semi-secured card. Something that you pay 200 to open and have a 400 CL. Are there cards like this out there?? I'd be really interested. Also, I can't seem to find any cards that you can get secured and later convert to unsecured. Is this something I have to call and request?

Yes willow, all of my cards were like that at one time. Cap1 has several, as does Applied Card Bank. ACC was my very first card I ever ever had. It was semi secured with $100 deposit, I got a cl of $300.(There are more out there with MUCH more favorable offerings).

I know some popular one's are: HSBC, Orchard Bank, First Premier Bank

if your aren't opt out of credit cards offers

then "check" for offers.

if your lucky they will counter with partial secured which is $99 deposit for $500 credit line.
