Not to discourage at all, but sometimes it is better to wait longer or just let it go. I am blacklisted by AmX and just have to live with it. It will be eight years this year. But then again, who knows? Everyone else let me back in so it could happen to you, too.

Good luck to you!

I burned BofA for 4800 in a 2003 BK. Do they hold a grudge if I wanted to go for a better balance rewards card?

BofA has been known to hold grudges, but since it's been 13 years, that burn may have healed. There's data points all over the board about approvals and denials after burning them. The only way to know for sure is to bite the bullet and apply, good luck.

My uncle burned them for 27,000 in 2005, they haven't forgave him, but that's a lot of money to burn someone for so.... Only thing you can do is apply and see if they even HP you of flat out deny you.

I burned them bad enough to get sued. They barely let me back in 7 years later with a 99/500 secured with 123 rewards. Then subsequently denied for a BBR and recon'd for an approval.

Since the BBR has no secured counter, that seems like a riskier play to me.
