The best way to stay off the radar is of course to not call and ask about it, because it will involve them viewing your account. I have also never heard of Chase doing anything like this.

So you can try, but it's probably not going to happen.

I have a Sapphire preferred but I was wondering if I call chase would they offer a no interest period. Maybe 6 months or so? I'm planning a family vacation and it would be great to get the travel points with this card. But, it didn't come with a free intro period. I've heard of some banks doing this if you call before a big purchase. I'm just not sure if chase is one of them. I'd call to inquire but I opened a few accounts and trying to staying off their radar lol. So I figured maybe some of you guys might have first hand knowledge.
