Is CapOne online down?

Had a charge declined and can't pull up my accounts online or mobile. Didn't know if anyone was having a problem as well?

I was doing some account maintenance today so I was bouncing around to all of my accounts, my Amazon store card, Cap 1, and Chase were all very slow or not working at all. Not sure what to make of that.

Can't log on to the mobile app.

Weird to do a maintenance on Monday.

Wonder if it's a DDOS attack.

Or something more sinister.

I got the pop-up message that they are unable to log me in on the app and wanted me to call some number.

Not using the card for purchases now so can't comment on charges going through.

Guys this looks no good -- called the # on the Mobile App and it immediately said "We are experiencing an exceedingly high call volume, and your call can not be answered for 24 hours" ??!? Im hoping this is somem omentary gltich -- My partner just tried to use his QS, DECLINED ! What could this even be ?? What is DDOS Attack ?

Forgot to mention when I called PenFed I got a busy signal, I had to call back 4-5 times before it finally rang, I found that strange. I also had a pretty long hold time.

As many have said, banks don't do maintenance on a Monday afternoon. Saturday or Sunday after midnight. And I think Cap 1 just had routine maintenance.

Also, ANY bank would want to have their charges go through even if their system was down, either expectedly or unexpetedly.

The long wait times on the phone make sense, as I am sure everyone is calling in to find out what's going on.

A quick search of news sites doesn't bring anything up. So, either it's nothing major (just looks like it to us credit addicts ), or so early in whatever is happening that it hasn't been picked up yet.
