AMEX Soft pulling 2-3x month now ??

Just noticed that this month I have already had 3 scores update in my FICO monitoring on AMEXs site -- months prior it was usually one per month on an exact date (16th). I have had a score on the 1st, the 8th and now the 15th (score went down on the 1st, up on 8th and today). Are they watching me? After my BofA BS reported as closed is when I noticed they started SPing more -- may be coincidence or may not be. Checked my EXP report and saw the 3 SPs on those dates too.

What a rump. Sometimes I really regret getting so involved in the "Credit game", but couldnt help it after the excitement of my crap credit going up to the 700s. May be overreacting but after BofA's AA Im on edge. NO new apps, new accts, nothnig since then, FYI. Nada.

Oh well time will tell Maybe they're SPing me to give a CLI

Even if they are "watching", it's not like there's anything you can do about it. Whatever happens happens. Keep a low profile and deal with things when/if they come up.

They updated my score twice last month, but only once so far this month.

Hey Joey, you never mentioned how many inq's you had on TU and EXP? I was just rereading the BofA AA thread.

Lol pfffffftttt. I'd never go through a full out FR. id have no issue sending a stub or bank statement but tax returns and all that to me, is ridiculouso. No card is worth that kind of PIA and waiting 2-4 weeks while they "process" it. My co worker had an FR last summer for authorized user activity -- froze his cards and wanted 2 YEARS of tax returns. I was in the room with him when he said, " Eat it. Never gonna happen. Close em down. ". Lol. Yup.

As in you JUST underwent an FR?? Was it before or after the score updates ? Or are you speaking of last May? What did they want / what was outcome

Yes, FR was completed last week and my FICO score updated around same time. I submitted 4506t form for them to request last 2 years of tax returns from IRS. My accounts are in tact, just have a hard limit on my PRG now.

Got ya. I recall your thread now. So your score updates three times just before FR?

I give ya credit for dealing with all that. Invasive to me, the most they'd get from me is a stub or the Credit/Withdrawal pages only from bank statements (they do not need to see my private transactions). But good for you !!! :-) glad they are intact.

Just checked mine. It normally updates around the 25th, but has already updated. I don't know if there were other updates this month because I haven't checked it since April's update.

I agree with your co workker decision. I would never provide tax returns to a credit card company. They can take that card. THE HELL WITH THAT.

I had two updates in April. One on the 13th and another on the 23rd. None so far for May.

Those were the EXACT dates of my 2 updates for April as well. My May one was on the 11th.

I use the actual EXPERIAN site. Experian.com.
