USAA Balance Transfers -- How long ??

Anyone know how long it takes for a Balance transfer TO a USAA Card takes to post into your USAA balance ? 1 day? 3 ? 4? All lenders are different and USAA had an offer in my Offers for a great rate for BT !! Do they pay other creditor electronically ?

10 days to post to your USAA card ?? Who was the other creditor ? Mine is capital one - I'm pretty sure they pay them electronically. So your USAA balance didn't reflect the BT for 10 days ?

I've never used my USAA card for a BT, but I know from past experience with other cards that when it's Capital One (in either direction) things tend to move fast - at least it did for me.

I've done NFCU sending funds to Capital One, Capital One sending funds to Wells Fargo, and Wells Fargo sending funds to Capital One... each of these only took a couple of days. (I was actually surprised how fast the funds moved.)

I'll add that the Wells Fargo account wasn't even my name, but it didn't slow things down at all.

I know this isn't specific to USAA, but the data points might be useful nonetheless.

Transferred from Capital one Venture to USAA, 10 days exactly.

I just did this a month ago with USAA. I made my request

for BT on the website on 4/15 and they all came thru into my

account on 4/21. It said you have 6 days to cancel the BT and

they meant it!!! To the day, it was DONE. I USAA!!!

Timeframe can vary not just from creditor to creditor but with a given creditor as well. It will complete when it completes. Don't rely on anecdotal evidence from others to determine how long your BT will take. Continue to make payments until confirmed with any BT.
