American Airlines Store Card 0% for 6 months $150+ Purchase

I didn't know AA Citi offered a store card. You get 0% for 6 months on purchases $150 or more.

And you can still earn miles too. This could pair good with the MC but of course you want get the

benifits of the MC. But at least you want have to rush and PIF like you would the MC. Wonder if the

UW criteria is more lax than the MC. Okay so who's gonna be the GP ?

I've seen this type of card around for a long time. I've never applied but assume it's easier than then visa/mc but probably not by much.

Why is there an APR for cash advance? Is it even possible to take cash out of an ATM with a store card?

I got this card while rebuilding with the hope it would give me some favorable citi experience. When I applied I had about 40% utilization, a bunch of inquiries/new accounts and a ch 13 showing on my credit report. When I apped I got a message to call in and after some security questions was approved for $2500 which was really high for me then. I have never used it and am nervous they are going to close it but I don't fly AA all that much. I was hoping they would upgrade to the other citi AA.
Yes you can do cash advances on the card. I think my limit for that is about 100

I am already the GP, I apped for the AAdvantage card and was not approved. We are planning a vacation around October so I was checking prices on American when I saw "Fly now Pay later" at the bottom of the page and was intrigued. Read it and thought 6 months free if paid in full, so I apped. $2000 limit and 2 days ago I got my pin for cash advance. It's $100 and at those rates it would be one of my last options ( probably sell some plasma first 🤑). I may use it because American has the most flights from my area and 0% is a nice deal. No you don't get extra miles or priority boarding, but no AF is nice.

Congrats on your approval. Do you mind sharing your stats when you app ? At least you still get miles for booking your flight with your advantage # 1X miles and 0% for 6 months evens itself out . Makes up for the other 1X your not getting for not having the AA MC

My scores range from 674-680 FICO, approximately 50 inquiries (way to many), AAoA 3 yrs, 24% credit card utilization (probably lower now), been rebuilding since early 2015.
