Discover card removal

I have 5 cards on my online profile, and I want to order the skyline design, and I believe there is a limit on how many cards you can have? Is it possible for a Discover CSR to remove a card completely from my online account so that I can order a new design? I only have one card active at one time, the others are deactivated not sure if that helps.

Have you tried adding a new card? I think once you pick the new design, it should let you choose which card to replace.

I was able to change my Discover card design without any problems. There was a link for it online, I picked a new design, and a few days later I had the new card in hand. It preserved my card number and account info.

When they issued the new cards with chips, it showed that I had two cards - original and chip. Later on, I chatted with a CSR about getting a Flyers NHL card and it was at that time that she offered to remove the original card from my profile. With that said, removing a card was done for me so I believe if you ask, they'll do it.
