CITI Costco card.....

Has anyone actually received this card yet? They (CITI) sent me a letter saying they were swapping out the Amex card with no hard inquiry to credit report. I thought the card was supposedly mailed in early May.

I don't care for the design either. To me it looks like the back of a person turned sideways a bit and shown from the neck down to the shoulder and then on down the back showing all the nerves, etc.

Citi is is really gaining some customers since a lot of people carried the TE AMEX.

Current Cardholders can start using it June 20th, I wouldn't expect apps to come much if any time before then.

You would think that they start taking apps at least a month prior to the conversion that way customers who are using Amex can be ready day one

Citi's new card isn't the only Visa that AmEx holders can use at Costco.

Mine is not yet coming, but it may never come -- because I had a dispute with my membership fee from Costco, and they may have cancelled my membership in Feb. The funy thing is CITI and Amex both mailed me in April to say I will get the new card soon...

By chance does snyone know if one were to apply newly for this card, never had a Costco card or its Amex branded card, do or will they allow AU 's. I only ask because if i were to apply i would like to get a AU card for my wife since she likes Costco, im more of a Sams man thanks for any info provided!

Another MyFico member posted that the Costco in their area was aggressively seeking applicants for the new Costco Citi card.

I was in my local CostCo yesterday and saw a nice table setup with 4 iPads and a huge Citi CostCo Card Sign... I proceeded to walk over there and speak with the gentleman manning stand in hopes of applying! He states he was there to help transition folks from Amex to new Citi Card and also explain the benefits of the new card. I asked him if I could apply and he stated, "No sir sorry not just yet... it'll be about another 3 weeks or so (June 20th)".

He gave me a booklet which shows all the nice features and I gotta say it's going to be a great card!

Our cards arrived today. I like the easy-to-read look. As a first time Citi user, will there be any cash perks or introductory 0% granted for this new account? I realize this is just a transfer of plastic, but hey, we're all spoiled right?

I believe it goes POOF. All the rewards are funneled through Costco regardless of where you purchase.
