Would they cancel my Platinum card if I hardly put anything on it? I figure since I'm paying the $450/year, it shouldn't matter but I wonder about this. I put all my spend on better rewards cards like the Sapphire for UR or Citi Premier for TY points. The only reason I got the platinum is I travel a lot for my job and visit the Centurion lounges on average 8-10 times a month so it's worth the $250 I'm paying for the card, after the $200 credit I get for airline fees. Anyone here heard of cards getting closed by the issuer for low usage even though their collecting an annual fee?

Thanks for the replies, good to hear nobody heard of them closing accounts for low usage. I should've clarified in my post I really meant low usage, not no usage at all. I do charge my Spotify monthly charge on it, and the $200 in airline fees so I can get the credit every year. Since I get the $200 back, I'm basically only charging around $10/month. I also have the Delta Amex that hardly gets any use but decided to keep it open since it's backdated and my oldests card by 15 years, and since I do fly Delta several times a year I think i'm at least breaking even on this card.
