New Amex 60 day question

I got my first Amex the start of April. Not sure of the exact start or approval date. I do see my first transition on April 12. I was just planning on using that as my origination date instead of trying for a CLI too early. So June 13th should be safe for me to attempt a CLI.....am I correct?

I was in the same situation as you, checked my EX report and it showed a date of 4/1, so I did the calculation and figured I was at the 61 day window and applied for the 3X CLI, got a message to call, When I called they said too soon and told me the date I would be eligible 6/5. So if you apply early ,they will tell you (at least they told me) when you are eligible.

I'm in the same boat. I was able to go back and check my email and found the email confirming my application was approved. I am eligible TOMORROW!

Fingers are crossed. My current CL is only $1.4k so I'm itching for an increase. I've been using the card a lot to rack up Hilton points but have to make payments 2-4 times a week..... very annoying. But this is my first AMEX so I was just happy to have my foot in the door.

At least it is good to know they will tell you when the correct day is, if you have the wrong one.
