CFPB or no?

Someone used my twitter post to app and get approved for a discover card. got the email from discover saying i will get the referral bonus. called them today to find out that unless I can give them the name of the person i referred, they won't credit me the bonus. CFPB or no? Is my case strong? I have the email from discover to prove it.thx

I see referral links posted on other blogs all the time. Never heard of them requiring such info.

That's hard to say without seeing the terms listed on the referral bonus offer. I'm not sure if it's really a CFPB issue so much as a BBB issue.

What's weird is they tell you to share your referral on social media...smh..that's like a trick bag.

didn't want to, but had to. having to take out private loans for school very soon
