Duplicate Sam's Club Cards (Different Numbers)

I was wondering if anyone is having the same issue. I have noticed that my Sam's Club Credit is showing up twice on my credit report but they have a different credit card number. I had no notice of this change nor have I gotten a new credit card. One card starts with 7714 and the new one starts with 6045.

It wouldn't hurt to call Sam's in case of identity theft. Better safe than sorry.

I called them about a month ago asking about the extra card showing up. They acknowledged that they opened the new card, and would be closing the other one. They said they were going to delete the old account but it was not deleted. So I disputed the old account that it was a duplicate but it only updated. I'm going to call them again but I wanted to see if anyone else got a new credit card number.

That is interesting. Hope you get that cleared up. They need to do something on their end.
