topic Citi Health Card Balance Transfer Help? in Credit Cards

I have a balance on my citi health card of 1400$, promotional no interest until January. After that, If I dont pay it off before then I'll get charged the deferred interest of the entire transaction amount. I know for sure I am not gonna be able to pay it all off before then. Is it a good idea to transfer this balance to one of my other cards so that I can avoid getting charged the deferred interest? I am specifically thinking of my cap1 quicksilver one because it has the highest limit. Any advice will help!

The Citi health card is like care credit except it's not as well known or accepted for anyone who has never heard of it. Anyhow if you can transfer it, then by all means do so and save yourself all that deferred interest.

Whats the process of balance transfer? I've never done one an wanted to be prepared for it. My no interest ends in January so I should probably start the process a couple months before?

It's pretty simple. You choose the card that you want the balance transferred to. Go to the website of that card and initiate the transfer. It will usually ask you the name of the lender, account number, and how much. Then, probably a verification screen, and then you are good. In most cases, the payment will be sent electronically, however, there are instances where they may mail out a check instead to them.
