I have what I think is a 99/500 BoA Secured card on Experian that is reporting as "Credit Card - Revolving Terms"..

I had a WaMu Secured MC that was reporting as "Credit Line Secured, Revolving"

Do the 99/500 cards report as "Credit Card - Revolving Terms" on Experian or did the person at the bank mistakenly tell me I had a 99/500 card when in actuality I have the normal BoA VISA Platinum Plus?

I started out with a BoA fully secured card (not even the 99/500). It reported as a regular revolving credit account on my credit reports, the entire time that it was a fully secured card. There was never any reference to the account being secured.

I don't know if this actually answers your question, but my experience has been that BoA didn't report it as a secured line of credit.

Mine has no reference to it being a Secured account either so that's why I thought maybe the bank employees screwed up (again) and gave me the wrong info by telling me it was a Secured card.

I think I might stil have to call them... I hate talking to them on the phone though, it's so frustrating because they almost never answer my questions and just pass me to someone else who won't be able to answer my question.

I have heard from others on here that boa didnt report their secured cards as secured.. More than likely you are getting the 99/500. Can you see it online yet? (assuming you have boa checking) I saw it online long before I got the card.

Message Edited by fender on 12-16-2008 06:12 PM

Mine simply reported as "Bank of America" and was not the Plat. Plus. but was a 99/500 of another product of theirs. It reported as secured CC or credit card secured (which doesn't matter at all). When it unsecured, it said revolving CC or CC or something like that.
