Kudos from BofA ! They unsecured my Visa!

So I applied for and received a secured BofA Cash Rewards Visa ten months ago. I have been using monthly with PIF and of course no late pays. Called today to unsecure. Rep did a SP only and commended me on my rebuilding. Card is now unsecured with an addl 1k CL to TCL $1500. He told me to wait for a couple of months and then apply for the card I really want AK Airlines Sigggy VS. Feeling Good about the process! Next call will be to Citi where I have an unsecured Visa that I got 8 months ago. I have been told that I may need to wait until 13 months at which time they will automatically unsecure. For those interested my FICO 8 score avg is 680-700. My BK is 3.5 yrs discharge.

Congrats, I called to close my secured BoS cash Rewards card and they ended up unsecuring it. Couldn't get a CLI but probably in 6 months.

So I called to unsecure my CITI card and was told there is no way to do it early. They will automatically review my account at 18 months. At that time they will close the account or unsecure based on my hx with them. If they unsecure they will offer me a choice of different cards. 10 more months to go.
