Boa question?

My BOA card finally reported on the big 3 this Friday and I took a big hit on my credit score. Each cs dropped between 25 to 31 points.
Got an approval of 4500 cl and put 4100 in bt on the card.
The 88% utilization killed my scores but I'm only at 20% utilization overall.
How is BOA for cli for new customers? Need to try to double my cl to cut that utilization in half to try to get my scores back up.
Wanting to get a BCE before I go on vacation next month and cant do it with that big of a drop.
Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks

Usually an account is eligle for a CLI at the 3 month mark, you'll know when you see the link to increase credit limit appear.

Good info, Thank you. My 1st BOA card and don't know there guidelines. Looks like I may be sol on my BCE for awhile at least.

Yea that's what I was thinking because of your current util on the BofA card, you def don't want to get stuck with a $500 BCE.

I don't think I would try to request a CLI on a card that has 88% utilization. It may place unwanted scutiny on the account and may have a negative result. Just a thought.

My Boa account is also relatively new but i dont see anywhere on my account a button to request cli. Does anyone know if it appears after i have the account for 6 months or is it another reason its not there. Thanks!

It's under "Card Details" on the Account Summary page...

I have no idea as I'm just the opposite. I refuse to have any of my financial data on my phone and only access it from my computers.

But some mobile user will surely be along to share what they see

Generally, BoA accounts are eligible for CLIs every 6 months. You could try asking for one earlier, but there are no guarantees. Best of luck to you!

I did a quick check and I don't see the link or the ability to request a CLI on the mobile app.

Thanks beautifulblaquepearl, I'll be sure to look on the full site for it to come up. That 88% utilization is driving me nuts. The point drop even crazier.
Should of thought of that b4 I did I guess . Hahaha
