I recently got a Discover and apply for AMEX

Unnerved by recent application to the Amex Every day Fill a pre qualification Amex and I got the Amex card every day, in my report I experian 712 in my score. After applying the message I came .. "Thank Yaidy have to talk to you by phone or call in 2-3 days" then the online application I get "in progress" will be a bad sign? To my surprise 3 days before it approved Discover What do you thinkAfter applying the message I came .. "Thanks Yaidy have to talk to you by phone or call in 2-3 days" What do you think?

I am sorry! I'm from Puerto Rico and I'm trying to write in English. the question is: If it is possible Amex every day is approved with 712 in experian and if the mesaje in progress is a good sign

It sounds like they may just want to verify some information. I wouldn't necessarily take it as a bad sign. It is hard to say though without knowing anything about your CR. The only thing that is a ever a bad side is a flat out denial.

I got a Blue Cash Everyday recently with my previous score of 698 so you are probably good but it still depends on what type (if any) negatives are on your report.

I think he got the call in to verify message. If i were you Yaidy, call Amex. It is probably to verify its you applying. Not really a jumble of words its just i believe English is his second language. He got the Discover approved 3 days before his Amex app. He has a 712 EX. I hope this correct Yaidy. But without knowing tour prodile, a 712 EX seems it would be good for Amex . Could be just for fraud protection. Good luck YAIDY

Yes, my score in experian is 712. I got the report along with my Discover card

The call in message is usually a good sign, and it's typically just to verify it is really you who applied. Give them a call.

Give them a call. They will either need to ask verification questions to approve you, or possibly explain that your second app was too soon after the first one and isn't being considered. (I've received that message after requesting a cli too soon afterthe previous request.)

Good luck! They will usually approve or deny you over the phone once the verification is complete.

I just called and was approved. What a thrill! I asked many questions, but it was worth. I helped a lot of store credit cards. It's good to have a second chance and I will be very respondable with my credit. Yay!!!
