Is it possible to upgrade/product change from quicksilver one mastercard to quicksilver visa signature or Venture? Rep told me no and that I would have to app for the signature sinces its a visa. Anyone know if this is true? My limit on the quicksilver one is 6500

If they have an offer available for you, you can upgrade a QS1 to a QuickSilver but it will stay a MasterCard. Some people carry QuickSilver WMCs around here.

If you want a Visa product, you have to apply for a Visa product. They will do product changes but won't do network changes.

As a note, I upgraded not long ago (6 months?) from the QS1 to the regular quicksilver and it was moved to a World MasterCard at the same time. A year before this I had the platinum card, so you can just keep upgrading away!

I did request a PC and it was upgraded to QS mastercard, I wasn't aware or world MC. did you request? or did they add it for you?

what others said combined is all true from what i have seen. if you have a qs1 mastercard and ask them to upgrade you to quicksilver no annual fee and your limit is 5000+ you have a very good chance at getting the World MasterCard.

Its the most of us that upgraded under 5000 that cant get the world mastercard part of the equation. world mastercard is similiar to visa signature, higer tier of card than platinum.

Cap1 is a a strange one. I cant get them to help me out. I have a 9.3K Venture 1 they refuse to PC to a regular venture or even upgrade to VS status. They keep telling me I can switch to QS. I just can't win with them.

Your PC'd VentureOne will come as a QS Visa Sig most of the time if your CL is over $5k.

If not then I would still PC it and email Cap1 EO if the VS is what your heart is set on.

Most times they will not deny you because your cl is over $5k.
