Hi, I want to request a CLI but do it with the executive office. I'm currently sitting at around 2500 but wantit higher so I can use the card exclusively in lieu of debit. Does anyone have the contact info? Thanks in advance.

I've tried EO twice with an email I've found on Captial One EO website. They said no twice. This was around a year ago.
If you have a card that not at least 3-6 months old, you would probubly not get an increase.
They are pretty strict about the 6 month rule after each increase. If the card is new an at least 3 months old...you have a slight
chance of getting an increase before 6 months.

I think this card is two years old. I started out with $500, then $1500, then $2000, then $2500. I never requested a limit increase my self with the exception being in January where I got an additional $150 after doing the online button. I need something with 4k otherwise I'll probably apply for another card. Capone has been great however.

So your last CLI was January? Ask for another increase.

I'm kind of glad EO isn't doing CLIs it seems like a waste of a resource. Either you qualify for a higher limit or you don't...

Yeah, but the human factor can override the automation. For example, if I explain that I want to use my card exclusively they will take that into consideration to give me a higher limit than they had in mind. By all means, check my history and soft pull.

Does anyone know what happens if I choose to decline a CLI that's too low when I hit the button online? Will that count towards the 6 months period of having to wait to do again?

Hmm. How did you request a manual review? Also, is the review requested after you try a CLI request?

I just called the number on the back of the card. I requested the CLI, when she said that there was no CLI offer I asked if there was a supervisor I could speak with. She transferred me there, they then submitted my CLI request to the underwriters. I told them (and it wasn't a lie) that I had a purchase that I plan on making that was more than the CL could hold (though I have yet to make that purchase).

I only did this after a CLI button request was denied.

EDIT: To clarify, I never reqested the EO nor did I reach out to them. I just called the number on the back of my card.
