I was going make my first payment tonight and it said . .. That I would not be able to schedule anymore payments until my next statement cuts ....is this true cause my Capitol one I make payments every couple days ..just cause I don't like it showing much...please tell me I can make more then one payment a month on bce Amex !!

I always do? It may depend on age of the acct. I tend to pay as I use the card most of the time. If you're still in zero % grace period, I wouldn't worry about it much unless you're charging a lot at one time.

This happened first month with my ED card with Amex. You'll have to push from your bank if you want to make another payment the first statement period.

I usually pay mine every two weeks. I've never had a problem.

For some people Amex does this to for the first month.. After that their is no issue. As others stated you can push from your bank as well if you so choose to get around it for the first month.

OP, as others have stated this could be due to the card being brand new. I am guessing that you just received this card within the past few weeks? When I was approved for my first Amex I made a payment two weeks into having the account. Amex wouldn't allow me to make another payment for a few weeks, but after the first statement I was able to make a payment each day if needed.

While it's up to you as to how often you pay you only really need to pay prior to report date to reduce the reported balance. Even if it does report high one cycle that's not likely to be an issue. You can adust it down next cycle.
