I've had my NFCU Cash reward CC since May of this year. My questions are whenshould I ask for a CLI? How much should I ask for? the max I can ask for is $50K,

Bottom line is you need to wait for 3 statement cuts, then the soft pull after that.

I would only ask for $25k since you can get an immediate counter instead of a manual review.

Is the CLI strategy the same for the Checking Line of Credit?

In the sense that you can ask for their max ($15k) and get a counter if not approved for max then yes. But the LOC is a HP for CLI

I would personally wait longer on the LOC because it's a definite HP and not much changes in that time. May as well make the HP worth it for the max.
