CreditOne CLI question -

I received a message when I logged in "

you've been pre-approved* for a FREE credit line increase of $250.00."

When I click on learn more there is only one questions, and it is income. There is no disclaimer about doing a credit pull. The only things they say is that "* Subject to income eligibility requirements."

Has anyone received this message? What did they do?

From what it sounds like they're just doing an atuo-increase. They're just verifying your income- they shouldn't pull your credit for an auto increase.

Credit One does auto-CLI's? Hoooo... If be wary of that. If you see a charge related to that *or* a new inquiry, fight them tooth and nail, nothing's free with these subprime CC companies!!

I've gotten two of them. One was for $450, another for $100. I just closed the card. Credit One is a super shady company.
