CSP Approval Odds

I am looking to get back into Chase after my BK7 DC'd Jan 2010. I did burn them in my BK. Has anyone been approved with a BK7. I have no baddies since my BK and have built my credit profile. Income is $141k.

Hmmm I think it was 2-3 cards for about $10-$15k total

Ok. How long did you have the cards for before BK. And since 2010, have you tested the waters? If so, what was the result?.

If memory serves me correctly I had the cards probably daring back to 2004/2005. I have tested the waters prob about 3-4 years ago and was denied. I also have checked pre approvals and never get any.

Ok. I think you should wait it out a bit more. That amount you burn then for is a bit high unfortunately.

Good. Time will be the difference maker here as you have tested the waters and are still getting denied. Hang in there..

If you filed BK in 8/09 it has been 7 years which means all the negative stuff should have fallen off except for the public record of the BK. You should maximize your score - only 1 account showing less then 10% utilization - the rest zero - and then give it a try - also assuming you have not opened up more then 4 new accounts in the last 2 years. You will then find out if Chase has black marked you for including them in your BK.
