Chase lost 6700+ of my UR points :(

I did a product change today from the Sapphire Preferred card to the Sapphire card and was told points would transfer at a 1:1 value. I had 6700+ UR points and now the system is showing 8 points. Thought it may have been a glitch online but I'm currently on hold with Chase and they're showing 8 available points on their end, too. They're opening an escalation to try to get the issue resolved, I just hope I can get all of my points back. Anyone have a similar issue? If so, what was the outcome?

They should be able to find them in the UR system. What was the conclusion of your phone call ?

I'm confident they'll find them, just bummed that it happened. I had no plans to use them any time soon but I'm just worried that there's going to be a problem.

I ended the phone call with 8 UR points and an opened escalation which will take 7-10 days to investigate.

You can't guranttee that... Personally I would of moved the points to another Chase card if you have one before you did a PC....

I hope you get them back. Personally I have no faith in Chase CSR's and don't expect them to ever help out.

That stinks. It should def be a 'Bank Error' and your points credited to your account.

Really, you have a record of them on your last statement. It's not rocket science here to see that they had them and it was a system error.

Which other card? OP has only one Chase card.

I'm also sure the points will be located, eventually.
