I was reading the reward info for my Sapphire Reserve that you can only transfer 1,000pts at a time. Is that correct?

Yes.

1,000 points equates to $10 to $30 at the outside value.

So you have to repeat the transfer 25x if you spend 25K points on united airlines for example?

If I understand your question correctly

No they can be transferred in one swoop / lump sum

Example I recently sent UR points to United to cap off my account for a redemption

Although I only needed 9300 points they can only be used in 1000 increments

So I entered 10000 to be transferred

Make sense?

+1 rounded to the nearest thousand (or whatever you want to transfer in 1k increments)

Probably says something like "transfer in increments of 1,000" which means you can transfer 1,000 or 50,000, but not 800 (have to wait for 1,000) or 2,872 (have to transfer 3K)
