CSR app pending-change of address

Hey all, I have an app pending for the Chase Sapphire Reserve. I was preapproved in branch last Friday, and have gotten the 30 day message via the automated line ever since. I've been meaning to change my address on file since I've moved elsewhere with my wife, but I'm not sure if I should hold off until the application goes through. I feel like this a weird question but does anyone have any thoughts?

Old address. I need to sit down and go across all my accounts and update my address but haven't done it as yet

Definitely a good idea to update your new address across all accounts. Earlier this year I moved and in the same month apped with Chase. I used my old address and was instantly approved. Called right away and explained the situation, they sent the card to my new address and updated my info at the same time. Obviously a different situation considering I was instantly approved. Some people say to just wait out 30 day message, if I were you I would probably give them a call, see if there's any info they need to verify you and explain the situation of your move. Thank you, I appreciate the advice. I've had a few people tell me to not call and wait it out since I'm well past 5/24

Haha I won't. Just a waiting game for now. I'll wait until after the application gets hopefully approved and then I'll call to update address

Not calling paid off. I just logged on to my Chase and saw the CSR listed with my highest credit line with them, 19.5k

I will later tonight. Now to figure out what to do with my CSP. Maybe I should convert it to the Freedom Unlimited? I have the regular Freedom but still

I did the same thing had the Freedom, CSP combo. Once I got the CSR the CSP became obsolete and moved some CL and converted the CSP to Freedom U. I actually think this becomes a greater combo. Quarterly 5%, plus unlimited 1.5%. Bought something from Lowes thru their portal got 3 + 1.5 so if I redeem for travel it becomes 6.75%.

Also another thing that is nice with that PC you can still use your CSP as the Freedom U because the numbers are the same.

Congrats on your CSR approval!

My plan was to convert my CSP to the FU but when I logged into my account the CSP annual membership fee was posted yesterday, lapse on my part

They will prorate your AF when you switch I asked the same thing when I switched because i paid mine in July. I would call to confirm.
