CSR -- 20.6% apr

Ok, so gave in to th frenzy and apped and approved for the CSR. Can't wait to get my hands on $450 worth of plastic

However, the apr has be a little ticked off. 20.6% would be higher that the apr on CSP and Freedom, infact a higher apr than the Cap1 cars I received when my scores were sub 700. Guess this will have to be a no balance card.

Current stats: EX 806, TU FICO 798. 2/24 before app. Overall utl at 9%

Don't see an alert on either of these so I assume they pulled EQ. Chase double pulled EX and TU when I apped for CSP and Freedom over 2 yrs ago.

Has anyone had any luck negotiating the APR on activation on a CSR on with Chase??

Surprised you got such a lousy APR with your scores and 2/24 over the past two years and overall low utilization. Chase doesn't negotiate APR's it just doesn't happen. Congrats on your card though. Rewards cards aren't really meant to carry balances either, so no real loss there IMO, but I understand being the principle thing, but its an approval at least on a very nice card.

I got hit as well with the 24% APR. My score is lower than yours, but Cap1 and Amex gave me low APRs, Amex giving me the lowest offered for their EDP.

Not sure the reasoning, I just assume they hate me lol which is fine. Hadn't planned on carrying a balance on the CSR and nor should you. Take it in stride I guess.
