I took AMEX up on the Sams Club membership offer. For "new' members only, if you join Sams Club and pay the $45 membership with your "registered" AMEX card you get a rebate of $45. Can't beat that, a free membership for a year. I have a Sams club about a mile from my home, so I thought I would give it a try. I will use the card to buy gas for my truck Their prices are about 15 -20 cents lower than the regular station I use. Anyway, I was surprised at how fast AMEX credited my account. It was only six days from the time I got the card until they gave me the rebate. Has anyone else taken AMEX up on the membership deal?

Overall, from what I have seen so far, AMEX is VERY fast to pay bonuses/give rebates/etc..

Is this a card offer of Sam's offer? I've got the ED &BCE, but nothing there in the offers.

yes I have BCE as well where is this offer?

My $100 bonus signup offer was posted within 10 days of me opening the account, I met the min spend the weekened I got the card.

Amex has been know to give credits, bonuses etc. in as quick as 2 days. They definitely are a leader in this practice.

I received my $100 statement credit extremely fast as well, Haven't seen my first statement yet and I already got it...
