CITI CLI- Request More?

Hey guys, I have an 8k DC. I just my hit my 7th month and requested a CLI. I got $1,600 on a soft pull and am now at $9,600. It allows to request more with a hp. What do you think? Go for it or leave it? If I leave it does it mean I have to wait 6 months even for a hp CLI? Thanks!

My question is how many inquiries do you have?

The only way I would say go for it is if you have zero inquires (or close to zero) and you're confident you're going to get a much higher limit when it's looked at by an analyst but there's never a guarantee on what you'll get.

Other than that, I agree that if the increase is not absolutely necessary, I would skip the hard pull.

My own personal rule is to use hard pulls for new credit products ONLY. I would not take a hard pull for a CLI - again, unless I had zero inqs, wasn't planning on apping anytime soon and it was absolutely necessary but I'm yet to do that.

Just my two cents.

UM
