I received a mailer today about the TD Bank cash credit card (prequalified not pre-approved). The offer is $200 cash back with a $500 spend in 90 days, 2% dining and 1% everything else. Does anyone have this card do you like it, what bureau did they pull, how are the starting limits, FICO score at approval, anyone recon if not initially approved?

I applied a few months ago when I got the mailer. I received a SL of $5000. Looks like they pulled Experian. Spent $500 on some football tickets, $200 back, awesome deal. Site is a little clunky and is not connected with general TD site or app. Maybe it is for people with a bank account, IDK. Credit came in immediately with first statement. Have not used the card since that one purchase.

I just got the card. I've been a bank accountholder for a while. Every time I went in to a bank branch to do a transaction, they would let me know I was preapproved for the card. Started getting mailers and finally applied for the card. I was approved 2K SL.. If you're a bank accountholder, the credit card site is the regular banking site which is pretty easy to navigate. I prefer the mobile app. Can't speak to how the site appears to a non bank accountholder. It will likely stay in rotation with a few other cards. No complaints thus far!

Does anyone have this card do you like it, what bureau did they pull, how are the starting limits, FICO score at approval, anyone recon if not initially approved?

1% on general purchases is typical; for some the 2% on dining is beneficial.

TD tends to request Experian credit reports. If you're not already a TD checking customer, this could be a way to tempt you to become a checking customer. I had one of their First Class cards, started at $5k. They wanted a HP for a CLI, so I closed the account after two years.

Went to the TD bank counter to make a deposit, teller told me I was pre approved for their cash card, I could apply and if approved she would've printed out the card on the spot. Didn't wanna chance getting embarrassed so I declined but went home, applied online, was approved for $3000, I was totally shocked
