How long does it take to get Navy Federal Card in Mail?

I had my card ordered on 10/4. They said they'd ship it out on 10/6 when I called yesterday, I paid $12 for expedited shipping... It's the nRewards card.

I did pay for Express shipping and mine still took 10 days to arrive.

Ha ha, AveragesJoes, it may well be the case!

I didn't ask for a refund of the expedited shipping fee because they had just finished the fun process of locking up my accounts for a time (got them unlocked), and I wasn't going to rock the boat with Navy Federal.

Just sent in my PP and addy verification....I'm no thinking I'll use that card.....seems NFCU does a lot of "Freeze outta nowhere" kinda surpises.

But I did get my card in 3 days

Just remembered that I have a FedEx account that tells me all packages which are programmed to arrive at my address, even before the package leaves the destination. Says my card will be here tomorrow 10/7. Love that FedEx and UPS feature, and it's why I despise receiving packages from pathetic USPS.

I paid for express and got mine in 2 days. That being said, I'm in VA and the cards are sent from VA.( Which, honestly shouldn't matter, as they're shipped FedEx. )

Freezes? I haven't read this anywhere except pertaining to membership issues. Anyone else?

Mine was a little slow to arrive, about 10 days. And every day before that I was getting other NFCU stuff in the mail, PIN, debit card, welcome letter, etc.

Generally speaking as long as you go through the proper channels to get your membership (and your sponsor, if any, did as well) there's no reason to be concerned about freezes, especially if you've been a member for a while.

USPS does the same thing and it picks up on things coming addressed to you / address. It's not quite as quick as FedEx / UPS but, it does pick up on shipments.

Hey Hum! If you're okay with sharing, would you please explain why NFCU locked your accounts? It would be another data point for those thinking of applying with them. Thanks in advance!
