so UPS just dropped off my 2rd CSR today

Didn’t even app for it, pretty cool huh lol. Unfortunately it has the same #s on it, too bad as I was all set to roll it into my fu and close it! But really, is it common to send out dups?

i know its not CSR but chase did that with my CSP when i got that few years ago, it always nice to have spare card if one gets worn out too much lol.

crazy...it's metal, do these things even wear out? it's actually a handsome looking card imo. make you a deal, you can use the spare to make my bonus - just pif and give it back when you are done. i trust you

well it was just a thought ha-ha. so you did end up getting one.. may I ask your sl and %? if you want, just curious. congrats! the csr's are so nice, everytime I talk with them I ask for a sp cli. one actually checked if there were offers on my account but no go but she said it does happen so it might not always an hp

I was sent two CSR cards too lol. One got sent out and then I got shipping notification on another shipping to me a day later. I believe a lot of other people were sent multiple cards as well because people who called in to get it expedited we're in the same situation. My guess was the first card being sent out was rushed delivered requested and the second card that got sent was the automatic default one that sends out automatically. I had the same card number and security CVV number on both cards, was your security CVV the same on both cards too?

yeah, the csr said to just keep it as a spare. not to shabby, might try and see if it works tonight but it should

Chase sent me 4 Hyatt cards, Yes, 4 of them. I knew they would be sending two, since the first card did not have my Hyatt Gold Passport number on it and the second one did, but then they decided to send 4 all in separate envelopes, same card number.

I started thinking, Chase, I love you too, but this is getting a bit silly!

Somewhere at Chase I suspect that the card making machine went a bit haywire.

I think it has to do with expedited card that get sent after original ones am not sure though

Wow 4. Did all 4 of the cards have the same 3 digit CVV numbers on be back? I would assume it'll be a big mess if they were constantly sending extra cards with diff security numbers on the back even tho the front card numbers are the same lol

Yes, same CVV on all cards, if I remember correctly (that was a year ago, so it is possible they were different). I cut up 3 of the cards and kept one. I guess they really wanted to make sure that I received the card!

On the contrary, they REFUSE give me a schedule to send the replacement of plastic CSR
I called and SM them couple times ask when they will send out the metal card, they just said it will be sent between Nov 1st and end of month, no firm date.
I do not want order a replacement, as it might change the CVV.

Nice. Must be common for Chase to send out duplicates. They sent me 3 Ritz Carlton cards, 2 metals and 1 plastic. Mine had a corrected rewards number though. They also sent me an envelope to return the others. I think I'll keep them as spare as well. They all have the same numbers and code at the back. As nice as that metal one is, it's too heavy to carry around. Just using the plastic one to carry around in my billfold.

I believe if you request a replacement card in general or for a damaged card replacement, the card numbers and CVV are the exact same. It's when you request a replacement due to it being lost or stolen that everything changes. Hopefully someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but you can always ask the customer service reps anyway.

CCVs typically only change when the CC number changes. It doesn't make since to change just the CCV and not the entire CC as well.

Also, that's nice that you got a free extra card. You basically got the benefit of the $75 AU fee just minus the additional Priority Pass membership card. AU's on the CSR have the same credit card number and CCV.

sorry, just waking up...if one bends or whatever this card and orders another they will replace it with the same exact card, ccv and all? thx

yes exact same on replacement card unless it is close to expiring then diff exp date, but not your case
