How often does Cap1 pull CR for CLI

So I got low balled with my CLI offer from cap1 and I'm certain it's because I had high UTI. I've cut it down from 41% to 20%.

How often does Cap1 SP my reports for the CLI request? Is it monthly? Or random? Please provide some input seasoned Cap1 members! Thanks!

I think I remember reading it was every 3 months they pull a new report for SP CLI's. I'm not 100% sure though so take that with a grain of salt.

What I find interesting is that they offer a weekly "Credit Wise" update which means that in some capacity they are performing a SP every week, even if it's for a VantageScore 3.0 report.

When you say "low balled", did they outright decline you, or offer you a "low" cli. If it was a low cli, what did they offer? . Id say they are pretty fair in their offerings depending on usage and scores.

I just passed my 6 month since my last CLI mark so I hit the button. I was denied. The letter they sent me showed my EQ score as 630 as of 9/27/2016. My CCT score at that time was just over 690 and my last mortgage pull in early September was 660s. In the section that lists the factors affecting my credit, the area was blank. I reached out to them and they said I had to take it up with EQ. I think I'll just hold off until the next review and hope it sorts itself out.

Which card is it for? Cap one uses different scoring models depending on which card you applied for.

AFAIK they only SP you for a CLI when you apply for a CLI. They obviously do that credit wise thing but that isn't even what they consider for their CLIs

Interestingly, I was just in EQ earlier today looking at my soft pulls and I see the last AR I've had from Cap One was on 9/27. It was once a month since December (right around when I received my QS1), but it looks like they skipped October.

I dunno if monthly AR is typical or not, but that's how it was for me up until last month. I think I'd prefer it if they do an AR sometime this month because my util is super low right now (it wasn't in September) and I'm eligible for my next CLI the first week of December so I'd like to have my current best showing when I ask. We'll see.

It was for my QS that was upgraded from platinum. It wasn't declined, but they only offered 250

My understanding is that they don't SP you at the time of a CLI request, but rather use their last SP on file which I have heard is usually a month or two old. But, again, I find that sort of bogus as CO must be hitting everyone with a weekly SP in some regard in order to obtain profile info in order to do their VS 3.0 update (Credit Wise).

Every CLI denial I've gotten from them which referred to a credit report and score referred to a FICO 5 EQ score from 1.5 to 2 months earlier. So I believe that they pull an EQ report every month, and that it's already a month old when they get it.
